Upward Spiral Pregnancy and Birth Services is an independent business owned by Nyssa Hanger, MA, LMT in Tampa, FL, serving Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. This business grew out of Nyssa’s bodywork practice and desire to help others embody their potential and become more of who they really are.

If there is anyone who knows about potential, it is a pregnant woman and her partner.  Moms-to-be are carrying with them a big reminder of the power of potential, the emergence of life from what can seem to be nowhere.  The pregnancy also brings lots of questions and uncertainties with what the future with this new life in it might hold.

Our services are designed to help women through their pregnancy and birth, supporting them in physical, emotional, and informational means. During pregnancy, we are available for prenatal bodywork, MotherMassage®, to help ease the transitions through the trimesters and later, help prepare the body for labor.  Our doula service provides support to women during labor and following, statistically decreasing the need for pain medications and interventions and increasing bonding post delivery.
